An original, transformative, artistic project featuring a ten-song album and documentary. It is a raw, unfiltered and powerful story that explores the depths of addiction, the challenges faced, and the hope found in the process of recovery. Each song was conceptualized and penned by Barbadian Simon Pipe - an internally renowned musician and
entertainer.
Simon has unashamedly shared his journey of addiction, treatment and recovery. He credits Verdun House, the support from family and friends and the recovery community for his sobriety years – one day at a time that he has achieved so far.
It is this journey that motivated him to use his creative talents to produce this masterpiece. Simon
hopes that by sharing his story that it gives others the courage to seek the help that is available and to be productive members of our society. Simon assembled an impressive line up of global musicians and producers to create “Just for Today”.
