Simon has unashamedly shared his journey of addiction, treatment and recovery. He credits Verdun House, the support from family and friends and the recovery community for his sobriety years – one day at a time that he has achieved so far.

It is this journey that motivated him to use his creative talents to produce this masterpiece. Simon hopes that by sharing his story that it gives others the courage to seek the help that is available and to be productive members of our society. Simon assembled an impressive line up of global musicians and producers to create “Just for Today”

Marius Charlemagne
Starting his musical journey at the late age of 18 has not stopped this multi- genre Electric/Upright Bass player from graduating with Academic Merit at the Barbados Community College Music Program and attending The Collective School of Music in Manhattan, New York.
In 2017, Marius was awarded the International Ambassador Scholarship and studied his Master’s degree in Music Industry Management and Artist Development at the University of West London.
He has toured internationally in Dubai, New York, Ireland, Atlanta, Jamaica, The British Virgin Islands and Guyana.
He taught at the Barbados Community College Music Program, where he created the first module in rock studies at the school.

Indra
Indra is an ethereal and indigenous alchemist, singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, traveller and gardener living in the hills of Ichirouganaim Barbados. Guardian of Island Moon Studio, Hai’roun Secret Publishing House & Creation Living Magazine.
Her artistry raises the vibration of love, joy, justice and balance.

Pete Barringer
I have produced and written for many artists, selling over 80 million records.
As part of DWB Music we organise Songwriting camps all over the World, where I met the incredible artist Simon Pipe.
It was a honour to play piano, keys and strings on the album.

Juanz
Juanita Clarke affectionately known as Juanz, is an energetic and versatile Barbadian session drummer and percussionist, who exhibited an exceptional love and passion for rhythm and drums from a young age. Along with being one of the few female drummers on the island, this well-versed musician moves easily between genres, and her ability has allowed her the pleasure of performing with international artists and bands across Barbados. Outside of performing, Juanz strongly believes in sharing knowledge and creating memorable experiences and thus, teaches private lessons, provides music therapy for adults and children with special needs and integrates music and literacy concepts to help students who struggle with reading.

Casheda
Casheda connects with music way beyond her years and prefers to mellow out on a lovely ballad, however with the limitless nature of music she is not opposed to exploring new possibilities.
She has worked alongside many of the Barbados greats including Arturo Tappin, Nicholas Brancker, 2mile Hill and Simon Pipe.
Ultimately, Casheda is wholly invested in cultivating a feel good experience that transcends space and time.

Tanya Stephens
Tanya Stephens is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist best known for her hit songs "It's A Pity" "These Streets" And "Yuh Nuh Ready Fuh Dis Yet".
Simon has written and produced a handful of songs for her, including "Blame It On Rock N Roll" which features on her latest album "Some Kinda Madness".
Simon and Tanya have also toured together, doing shows in the Caribbean as well as live performances on Irie FM TV and Radio in Jamaica.

Rex
Rex is a Barbadian multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and producer who spent his formative years hanging around the music studio of international superstar Eddy Grant. Former Drummer/ Co vcalist of UK #1 charting band Cover Drive, Rex, now based in LA, continues to make and release music as a solo artist.
